Why is there a $499 setup fee?
Because we do the setup for you. That fee covers three live calls with our team, full configuration of your Engine, and every message written and approved before launch. Pay annually, and we waive it entirely.
Is the setup fee refundable?
If you cancel before the install is finished, yes. Once your Engine is built and live, the $499 has paid for our team's time, so it's non-refundable at that point. Your monthly is separately protected by the guarantee.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. You're billed monthly and can stop anytime. Annual is an option if you'd prefer to pay once and save.
Do you charge per inquiry or per user?
No. It's a flat $299/month, no matter how many inquiries the Engine handles or how many of your staff use the dashboard.
Won't this feel cold and impersonal?
The system handles the boring parts; your team handles the human parts. The "cold" outcome is the family who never heard back at all.
I've tried HubSpot / Mailchimp / a CRM before. What's different?
